We are super excited to announce that Bay Area guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Chris Haugen has joined PMW for the remainder of 2012.  He has been a staple in the music scene for more than 2 decades and has played with everyone under the sun.  Chris co-founded and performed with Jambay through the 90s, and played lead guitar with Melvin Seals from 2001-2003.  In 2007 he played on the “Into the Wild” film score (director Sean Penn). Chris’ solo record Seahorse Rodeo(buy it HERE) has met with critical acclaim, and he also continues to collaborate and do sessions with many many favorites from the Bay Area and beyond.

To sum it up, we could not be more fired up to spend some time with Chris in the guitar position opposite Jason Beard!  Be sure to come check him out for his first PMW performance at The Ukiah Brewing Company on May 12, 2012, in Ukiah, CA.  It is a short 2 hour trip north from San Francisco along the scenic 101 into Redwood Country…well worth the short trip!  You can buy tickets HERE.

Due to an inner ear disorder that effects his balance and hearing,  April 21st will be PMW’s last with Sean Lehe, at least for a while.  Sean’s inner ear disorder has been taking it’s toll for some time and he has made the decision to address the condition in a more head on fashion.  Sean will be taking a break from long tours, flying and the louder stage settings that he finds himself in with PMW, but don’t fret, he will be continuing music as he goes forward.  You can read all about all this in Sean’s own words here: http://www.seanlehemusic.com/.  Click on “Seanblogged” on the top of the page and then read “Letter to Friends and Fans”

The band supports Sean fully in his decision and we are glad to see him putting his health first.

Alright, next show on the books is April 21, at the Great American Music Hall!  To say we are excited would be an understatement.  We have not played there in almost 1 year, and that is way too long by our measuring stick.  Be prepared for a big night in the city, get your tickets early and tell your friends.  Be sure to get there early and catch good friends the Jugtown Pirates, they are super fun and fit perfectly with our scene.
