A Return to the Darkside:
On Jan. 11, 2008 Poor Man's Whiskey brings their critically acclaimed bluegrass interpretation of Pink Floyd's classic album "Dark Side of the Moon" to the legendary Great American Music Hall. Your eyes will be dazzled by the specatular Lazer and Liquid Light show, and your funny bone tickled by the our theatrical presentation. The theme for the night will be based on the classic movie, the Wizard of Oz. We encourage you to be a part of the show and come dressed as your favorite character. If you missed the show last May at the Mystic Theater you can get a taste of it here on youtube. Extra Extra!!! Poor Man's Whiskey is excited to announce that we will be having some very special guests joining us for the evening. Nat Keefe and Aaron Redner from Hot Buttered Rum and James Nash from the Waybacks will be sharing their musical talents to make this the best Darkside of the Moonshine show ever! Which character from the Wizard of Oz will they be? You'll have to come out and join us to find out! Poor Man's Whiskey is honored and thrilled to have them be a part of this magical night of music. We are looking forward to having you all join us for an evening filled with Pink Floyd bluegrass delights, PMW songs you know and love, and a night full of suprises! Tickets are available now at the Great American's website,. Check back here closer to the show for more info. Shine On! |
