Poor Man’s Whiskey announces Spring Tour!
Northern California’s Poor Man’s Whiskey is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s landmark album “Dark Side of the Moon” by touring their critically acclaimed show “Dark Side of the Moonshine”..a bluegrass interpretation of Dark Side of the Moon. While PMW has done the show at various times (including Australia’s Byron Bay Blues Festival and sell out at San Francisco’s legendary Fillmore Auditorium), this will be the first time that a complete tour was based around the show. The crowd is invited to participate in the show by coming dressed as their favorite Wizard of Oz Character and join in the festivities. Poor Man’s Whiskey will include a full two sets of music each night (a set of their original crowd pleasing ho-downs and jams followed by a second set of the Dark Side of the Moonhine).
On March 15th and 16th PMW takes a short break from the Dark Side and will set up in their hometown of Sebastopol,Ca at the Hopmonk for two nights of live CD recording.
