40 Days and 30 nights

Winter is here, snow is falling, cabin fever is setting in. Only one thing to do... Hit the road!!!

Since Josh just released his new solo album, "The American Dream", we decided to spend the month of February to tour the Pacific Northwest. After months spent of getting the tour together, rehearsing the material, and taking care of last minute details we were ready...almost. only problem was that we didn't have a vehicle to do the tour in.

Josh came to the rescue and scored a sweet VW Van and we were ready to hit the road. we planned to be on the road for 40 days, but were honest enough to admit we would only remember 30 of the nights, so we decided to call the tour "40 Days and 30 Nights". yee haw!

We played house concerts, bars, clubs, resorts, streets, and gas stations through out California, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, and Oregon. We had a great time meeting new folks and sharing the music. As you might suspect, crazy situations seemed to follow us were ever we went. Our van really has a good sniffer for good snow, and broke down when ever the powder got good.

After renting a car to make the Idaho and Oregon shows, we headed back to utah to get the van fixed. Unfortunately, it took a week to get the parts and we ended up having to cancel the rest of the tour through Washington and Oregon. Thankfully the snow dumped and we scored some epic pow pow in Utah. Big shout out to Johnny for giving us a place to stay while we waited out the getting that van repaired, and to all our new friends we made out on the road. We ended up having a floor to crash on ever place we went to, and saw and experienced some amazing things out there on the road.

We are already booking our summer run, and Josh is looking to head back into the studio to record his second solo release soon. Looking forward to being back in California and seeing you all at the Great American Music Hall on Saturday, March 4th. Hopefully the trip home will be smooth sailing, keep your fingers crossed!!!
