Poor Man's Whiskey is excited to announce another appearance at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass this Fall.
The band will be performing on the Banjo stage on Friday October 2nd at 2pm. We will be warming up the crowd for American Folk legend John Prine and Country Superstar Lyle Lovett!! Sharing the stage with names like these is not something we take lightly and our performance will be stepped up a notch or ten.
PMW has a history of fun surprises and stellar set lists to contend with. We always try our best to go all out at this San Francisco gem of a festival. Some of you may remember all the way back to the jail break of 2005, or the Freddy Mercury speed suit of 2006, and last year, the Mariachi band complete with horn section, stage dancers and of course, a MARRIAGE PROPOSAL!! Hard to top, but we still have some tricks up our sleeves.
As far as a destination festival, HSBG is hard to beat. Golden Gate park in the Fall is a spectacular place. We sure hope that our friends and family from all over will make the effort to come be a part of this special event!
